   5 <p>If you want the ability to electronically communicate directly with
   6 your neighbors and friends using a network controlled by your peers in
   7 stead of centrally controlled by a few corporations, or would like to
   8 experiment with interesting network technology, the
   9 <a href="http://www.dugnadsnett.no/">Dugnasnett for alle i Oslo</a>
  10 might be project for you.  39 mesh nodes are currently being planned,
  11 in the freshly started initiative from NUUG and Hackeriet to create a
  12 wireless community network.  The work is inspired by
  13 <a href="http://freifunk.net/">Freifunk</a>,
  14 <a href="http://www.awmn.net/">Athens Wireless Metropolitan
  15 Network</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roofnet">Roofnet</a>
  16 and other successful mesh networks around the globe.  Two days ago we
  17 held a workshop to try to get people started on setting up their own
  18 mesh node, and there we decided to create a new mailing list
  19 <a href="http://lists.nuug.no/mailman/listinfo/dugnadsnett">dugnadsnett
  20 (at) nuug.no</a> and IRC channel
  21 <a href="irc://irc.freenode.net/#dugnadsnett.no">#dugnadsnett.no</a> to
