   5 <p>Thanks to a blog post by
   6 <a href="http://ramblingfoo.blogspot.no/2012/10/a-shitstorm-is-comming.html">Eddy
   7 Petrișor</a>, I became aware of yet another "alternative medicine"
   8 company using legal intimidation tactics to scare off critics.
   9 According to the originating blog post about the detox "cure"
  10 <a href="http://insulaindoielii.wordpress.com/2012/10/11/colon-help-sues-wordpress/">ColonHelp
  11 and its producers Zenyth Pharmaceuticals actions</a>, the producer
  12 sues Wordpress to get rid of the critical information.  To check if
  13 the story was for real, I contacted Automattic, the company behind
  14 wordpress.com, and they reply was "We can confirm that Zenyth is
  15 seeking a court order against WordPress / Automattic.  However, we
  16 don't believe the Terms of Service have been violated in this
  17 matter".</p>

  19 <p>The story seem to be simply that a blogger checked the scientific
  20 foundation for a popular health product in Rumania, ColonHelp, and
  21 reported that there was no reason at all to believe it improved the
  22 health of its users.  This caused the company behind the product,
  23 Zenyth Pharmaceuticals, to use legal intimidation to try to silence
  24 the critic, instead of presenting its views and scientific foundation
  25 to argue its side.</p>

  27 <p>This is the usual story, and the Zenyth Pharmaceuticals company
  28 deserve everyone to know how it failed to act properly.  Lets hope the
  29 <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect">Streisand
  30 effect</a> can make it rethink its strategy.</p>
