404 <p>I'm one of two designers and maintainers of a Internet games metaserver
405 project. We want to ease the task of discovering available game servers
406 for any game on the Internet, and have designed a distributed network of
407 gigs-servers where game servers can report their presence, and game clients
408 can query the closest gigs-server to get a list of running game servers.</p>

412 <p>I am the system architect and lead developer of the project. The
413 project was initiated in 2001 by me and a few others. We want to make free
414 software more available for the primary schools in Norway, and are
415 making a turn-key installation for the school networks, with all the
416 services and desktop applications needed in schools, with the user
417 programs available in Norwegian Bokmål, Nynorsk and Nothern Saami.</p>
