   5 <p>I am very happy that we in the
   6 <a href="http://www.nuug.no/">Norwegian Unix User group (NUUG)</a>,
   7 spearheaded by Marius Halden from NUUG and Matthew Somerville from
   8 <a href="http://www.mysociety.org/">mySociety</a>, finally managed to
   9 upgrade the code base for the Norwegian version of
  10 <a href="http://fixmystreet.org/">FixMyStreet</a>.  This
  11 was the first major update since 2011. The refurbished
  12 <a href="http://www.fiksgatami.no/">FiksGataMi</a> is already live, and
  13 seem to hold up the pressure.  The
  14 <a href="http://www.nuug.no/news/Pressemelding__FiksGataMi_i_oppdatert_og_mobilvennlig_klesdrakt.shtml">press
  15 release and announcement</a> went out this morning.</p>

  17 <p>FixMyStreet is a web platform for allowing the citizens to easily
  18 report problems with public infrastructure to the responsible
  19 authorities.  Think of it as a shared mail client with map support,
  20 allowing everyone to see what already was reported and comment on the
  21 reports in public.</p>
