This started as a online gaming project at Telenor Link, a part of Norwegian
Telecom, and was later moved into its own company, Games And Multimedia
Entertainment Systems (GAMES). Duties included creating a framework for
our journalists to present gaming news, a download site for game demos,
a games shop selling CDs by web orders, and evaluating and setting up a
online gaming site such as MPlayer and Wireplay. |

Major Projects
Japhar - The
Hungry Programmers Java Virtual Machine
I'm one of the current maintainers of a multi-platform Open Source implementation
of SUN's Java. It currently runs on Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris and Irix. It
is written in C (and a little bit C++), and supports native threads, Java
Native Interface and Netscape/Mozilla Open Java Interface.
GIGS - Generic Internet
Games Service
I'm one of two designers and maintainers of a Internet games metaserver
project. We want to ease the task of discovering available game servers
for any game on the Internet, and have designed a distributed network of
gigs-servers where game servers can report their presence, and game clients
can query the closest gigs-server to get a list of running game servers.
