  26 Guillon, who created the PO file from the initial translation

  36 &lt;p&gt;When enabling book store distribution on Lulu.com, I had to nearly
  37 triple the price to allow the book stores some profit.  I also had to
  38 accept that I will get some revenue when a book is sold via Lulu.com.
  39 But because of the non-commercial clause in the book license
  40 (CC-BY-NC), this might be a problem.  To bypass the problem I
  41 discussed how to handle the revenue with the author, and we agreed
  42 that the revenue for these editions go to the
  43 &lt;a href=&quot;https://creativecommons.org/&quot;&gt;Creative Commons non-profit
  44 Corporation&lt;/a&gt; who handle donations to the Creative Commons project.
  45 So far they have earned around USD 70 on sales of the

  94 måtte de få lov til å selge til høyere pris enn lulu.com.  I tillegg
  95 er det krav om samme pris på lulu.com og i bokhandlene, dermed blir
  96 prisen økt også hos lulu.com.  Hva skulle jeg gjøre med den profitten
  97 uten å bryte med klausulen om ikkekommersiell?  Løsningen var å gi
  98 bort profitten til CC-stiftelsen.  Prisen på boken ble nesten
  99 tredoblet, til $19.99 (ca. 160,-) pluss frakt, men synligheten øker
 100 betraktelig når den kan finnes i katalogene til store nettbokhandlere.
 101 Det betyr at hvis du allerede har kjøpt boken har du fått den veldig
 102 billig, og kjøper du den nå, får du den fortsatt billig samt donerer i
 103 tillegg noen tiere til fremme av Creative Commons.&lt;/p&gt;

 105 &lt;p&gt;Mens jeg var i gang med å titte etter informasjon om boken
 106 oppdaget jeg  at den også var dukket opp på

 117 til måtte jeg personlig håndtere bestilling av bøker, hvilket jeg ikke
 118 er interessert i å bruke tid på.  Jeg kunne betalt ca 2000,- til

 120 database over bøker tilgjengelig for norske bokhandlere, for å få en
 121 oppføring der, men da måtte jeg tatt imot bestillinger på epost og
 122 sendt ut bøker selv.  Det ville krevd at jeg var klar til å
 123 sende ut bøker på kort varsel, dvs. holdt meg med ekstra bøker,
 124 konvolutter og frimerker.  Bokbasen har visst ikke opplegg for å be
 125 bokhandlene bestille direkte via web, så jeg droppet oppføring der.
 126 Jeg har spurt Haugen bok og Tronsmo direkte på epost om de er
 127 interessert i å ta inn boken i sin bestillingskatalog, men ikke fått
 128 svar, så jeg antar de ikke er interessert.  Derimot har jeg fått en
 129 hyggelig henvendelse fra Biblioteksentralen som fortalte at de har
 130 lagt den inn i sin database slik at deres bibliotekskunder enkelt kan
 131 bestille den via dem.&lt;/p&gt;

 233 enhver fremvisning via datamaskin), kontroll (avledede verk er
 234 definert så bredt at i praksis alle nye åndsverk risikerer søksmål fra
 235 en opphavsrettsinnehaver) og til sist maktkonsentrasjon og integrering
 236 av mediebransjen.  Den dokumenterer også hvordan medieindustrien har
 237 lyktes med å bruke rettsvesenet til å begrense konkurranse, og i
 238 praksis har skaffet seg vetorett over teknologiske nyvinninger.

 243 en demonstrasjon av at Walt Disney ville ha blitt ansett som en

 486 years arrived in the mail.  I had to fake a cover to get the interior
 487 printed, and the exterior of the book look awful, but that is
 488 irrelevant at this point.  I asked for a printed pocket book version
 489 to get an idea about the font sizes and paper format as well as how
 490 good the figures and images look in print, but also to test what the
 491 pocket book version would look like.  After receiving the 500 page
 492 pocket book, it became obvious to me that that pocket book size is too
 493 small for this book.  I believe the book is too thick, and several
 494 tables and figures do not look good in the size they get with that
 495 small page sizes.  I believe I will go with the 5.5x8.5 inch size
 496 instead.  A surprise discovery from the paper version was how bad the
 497 URLs look in print.  They are very hard to read in the colophon page.
 498 The URLs are red in the PDF, but light gray on paper.  I need to
 499 change the color of links somehow to look better.  But there is a
 500 printed book in my hand, and it feels great. :)&lt;/p&gt;

 673 publiserte filmer på den tiden ble deponert i bibliotek?  Forklaringen

 693   eksisterer - hvis den finnes i det hele tatt - i arkivbiblioteket

 815 first draft is nearing completion.  I created a graph to show the

 825 English docbook version with the paper version.  Last, the colophon
 826 page with ISBN numbers etc need to be wrapped up before the release is
 827 done.  I should also figure out how to get correct Norwegian sorting
 828 of the index pages.  All docbook tools I have tried so far (xmlto,
 829 docbook-xsl, dblatex) get the order of symbols and the special
 830 Norwegian letters ÆØÅ wrong.&lt;/p&gt;

 832 &lt;p&gt;There is still need for translators and people with docbook
 833 knowledge, to be able to get a good looking book (I still struggle
 834 with dblatex, xmlto and docbook-xsl) as well as to do the draft
 835 translation and proof reading.  And I would like the figures to be
 836 redrawn as SVGs to make it easy to translate them.  Any SVG master
 837 around?  There are also some legal terms that are unfamiliar to me.

1098 taxes for these values.  And copyrighted work have value.  It have
1099 value for the rights holder, who can earn money selling access to the
1100 work.  But it is not included in the tax calculations?  Why not?&lt;/p&gt;

1103 maintain a database of all the copyrighted works and who are the
1104 rights holders for a given works, to be able to associate the works
1105 value to the right citizen or company for tax purposes.  If such
1106 database exist, it will become a lot easier to find out who to talk to
1107 for clearing permissions to use a copyrighted work, which is a very
1108 hard operation with todays copyright law.  To ensure that copyright
1109 holders keep the database up-to-date, it would have to become a
1110 requirement to be able to collect money for granting access to
1111 copyrighted works that the work is listed in the database with the
1112 correct right holder.&lt;/p&gt;

1114 &lt;p&gt;If copyright causes copyright holders to have to pay more taxes,
1115 they will have a small incentive to &quot;disown&quot; their copyright, and let
1116 the work enter the public domain. For works with several right holders
1117 one of the right holders could state (and get it registered in the
1118 database) that she do not need to be consulted when clearing rights to
1119 use the work in question and thus will not get any income from that
1120 work.  Stating this would have to be impossible to revert and stop the
1121 tax office from adding the value of that work to the given citizens
1122 tax calculation.  I assume the copyright law would stay the same,
1123 allowing creators to pick a license of their choosing, and also
1124 allowing them to put their work directly in the public domain.  The
1125 existence of such database will make it even easier to clear rights,
1126 and if the right holders listed in the database is taxed, this system

1483 kopiert og utvidet dette oppsettet.  Originalteksten er i Docbook, og
1484 oversettelsen gjøres i .po-filer med hjelp av vanlige
1485 oversetterverktøy brukt i fri programvareverden.  Dernest tar
1486 byggesystemet over og lager PDF og EPUB-utgave av den oversatte
1487 teksten.  Resultatet kan ses i Github-prosjektet.  For å komme raskt
1488 igang har jeg brukt maskinoversettelse av alle tekstbitene fra engelsk
1489 til norsk, noe som grovoversatte ca. 1300 av de ca. 1700 tekstbitene
1490 boken består av.  Jeg håper nå at flere kan bidra med å få
1491 oversettelsen på plass, slik at teksten kan være klar i løpet av
1492 høsten.  Når alt er oversatt må teksten gjennomgås for feil og
1493 konsistent språk.  Totalt er det nok mange timer som trengs for å
1494 gjennomføre oversettelsen.&lt;/p&gt;

1497 stortingsrepresentanter og nesten like mange varamedlemmer bør få
1498 bøker, og estimert produduksjonskostnad for hver bok er rundt 6 EURO i
1499 følge et raskt estimat fra Lulu.  Jeg vet ennå ikke hvor mange sider
1500 det blir i størrelsen 5,5&quot; x 8.5&quot; (det er ca. 140 sider i A4-format),
1501 så jeg gjettet på 400 sider.  Jeg tror originalutgaven har nesten 400
1502 sider.  For 169*2 eksemplarer snakker vi om en trykkekostnad på
1503 ca. 2000 EURO, dvs. ca 15 000 NOK.  Det burde være mulig å finne en
1504 sponsor for å dekke en slik sum.  I tillegg kommer distribusjon og
1505 porto, som antagelig kommer på like mye.&lt;/p&gt;
