   5 <p>After trying to compare Ogg Theora to
   6 <ahref="http://www.digistan.org/open-standard:definition">the Digistan
   7 definition</a> of a free and open standard, I concluded that this need
   8 to be done for more standards and started on a framework for doing
   9 this.  As a start, I want to get the status for all the standards in
  10 the Norwegian reference directory, which include UTF-8, HTML, PDF, ODF,
  11 JPEG, PNG, SVG and others.  But to be able to complete this in a
  12 reasonable time frame, I will need help.</p>

  16 wiki pages I have set up for this</a>, and let me know that you want
  17 to help out.  The IRC channel #nuug on irc.freenode.net is a good
  18 place to coordinate this for now, as it is the IRC channel for the
  19 NUUG association where I have created the framework (I am the leader
  20 of the Norwegian Unix User Group).</p>
